GigFinder is a platform that connects performers with event planners. Event planners can create events and invite performers, while performers can browse events and request to perform. Once a connection is made, both parties can chat, negotiate the price, and confirm the booking with a secure payment process.
2. Who is GigFinder for?
GigFinder is built for both event planners and performers. Whether you’re planning a club night, private party, wedding, corporate function, or comedy show, you can find verified performers suited to your event. On the other side, performers like musicians, DJs, comedians, MCs, and other entertainers can use GigFinder to find gigs, build their reputation, and get paid securely. The platform is flexible and built to serve a wide range of event types and performance talents.
3. Is GigFinder free to use?
Signing up and browsing the platform is free for both performers and event planners. GigFinder charges a small service fee only when a booking is confirmed and payment is made, ensuring secure transactions and reliable service for both parties.
4. How do bookings and payments work on GigFinder?
Once both parties agree on a performance and price, the event planner pays the full amount through the platform to confirm the booking. After payment, GigFinder generates a unique OTP code. On the day of the event, the performers enter this code to confirm their attendance and receive payment. This ensures accountability and secure delivery of services.
5. What happens if the performer doesn’t show up or if I need to cancel the event?
If the performer doesn’t show up and the OTP code isn’t entered, the event planner receives a full refund. If the event planner cancels at least 3 days before the event, they’ll also receive a full refund. However, cancellations made within 3 days of the event will result in a 15% cancellation fee.
