Events Afrobeats artists play
Club nights and lifestyle events, weddings that bring South African and West African families together, birthday parties, festivals and corporate celebrations. Afrobeats mixes well with Amapiano, so many acts play both.
Live band, PA performance or DJ set?
- PA performance. The artist performs their songs over backing tracks. This is the most common booking for parties and club nights.
- Live band. The artist performs with musicians. It costs more and needs more stage space and sound.
- DJ set. An Afrobeats DJ plays a mix for the whole night or for a set slot.
How booking works
- Find your act. Browse Afrobeats artists here or on Discover and open a profile to see genres, city, photos and the booking fee.
- Send a request. Tap Book Now and share your date, venue, type of event and budget.
- Agree the details. The artist’s team replies within 24 to 48 hours. Chat, confirm availability and agree the final quote.
- Pay safely. Pay by EFT or another major South African payment method. Your money stays in escrow until you confirm the performance.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to book an Afrobeats artist?
Each artist sets their own fee, shown on their profile. The final quote depends on the artist’s profile, the type of set, how long they perform and travel.
Can I book an Afrobeats artist for a wedding?
Yes. Share your date, venue and the moment you want them to perform, for example the entrance or the after party, and agree the details with their team.
Do you also have Amapiano acts?
Yes. See Amapiano DJs for hire or filter Discover by genre.
Is my money safe when I book?
Yes. Your payment sits in escrow, not with the artist, until the event has happened and you share your 4 digit confirmation code. Cancel within 48 hours of paying for a full refund.
