- Find your act. Browse artists here or on Discover and open a profile to see genres, city, photos and the booking fee.
- Send a request. Tap Book Now and share your date, venue, type of event and budget.
- Agree the details. The artist’s team replies within 24 to 48 hours. Chat, confirm availability and agree the final quote.
- Pay safely. Pay by EFT or another major South African payment method. Your money stays in escrow until you confirm the performance.

DJs, MCs and hosts, singers, rappers, bands, dancers, producers and instrumentalists, across genres such as Amapiano, Gqom, 3 Step, House, Gospel, Afrobeats, Hip Hop, Jazz and Maskandi.
Which cities do you cover?
Artists are listed in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and East London. If your event is somewhere else, mention it in your request and the artist’s team will confirm whether they can travel.
How much does it cost to hire an artist?
Each artist sets their own booking fee, shown on their profile. The final price depends on the date, the length of the performance, travel and the type of event, and you agree it with the artist’s team before you pay.
How do payments work?
You pay the full booking fee upfront through GigFinder’s secure checkout, by EFT or another major South African payment method. The money is held in escrow until you confirm the performance by sharing a 4 digit code with the artist’s label, and only then is it released.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel within 48 hours of paying and you get 100% of the booking fee back. After 48 hours you get 85% back, as GigFinder keeps its 15% platform fee. The full rules are in our Refund Policy.
